Description
Application Platform with an ABAP kernel for SAP built applications.
Business purpose
Provide an application platform for SAP applications based on an ABAP Kernel. This Application Platform is used for the following SAP usage type:
- NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (DI)
- Enterprise Core Component (ECC)
- Customer Relation Management (CRM)
- Supplier Relation Management (SRM)
- Central or Local User Administration
The user interface is either web or desktop based.
Characteristics & indications of usage
- Design conform ArchiSurance standards (both EA and SAP)
- Solution Manager is mandatory (for management and license acquisition)

When designing a facility to implement this function, inclusion of all the following elements is prescribed; either mandatory, optional or explicitly forbidden:
