Architectural Elements of type "Element type note" are contained in this class. "Element type note" in this respect means that the architect makes certain comments on (parts of) an infrastructure facility. Examples would be

• a reminder on a design principle, e.g. "all parts of this facility must match each other in version numbers according to the SAP product matrix";
• an explanation for the absence of an architectural artifact, e.g. "we do not include authentication here because that's already been handled in adjacent facility Foo".
