Description
This Generic Function belongs to Working Area Middleware. This facility is capable of changing the content of a message according to predefined rules. The changes can consist of any combination of
- removing (part of) the message content;
- adding to the message content; or
- modifying (part of) the message content.
Reasons to change the content of a message may be very diverse:
- to insert a link to an attachment that is being removed from the message itself and placed elsewhere
- to add a disclaimer to the end of an email;
- to transform an XML message into HTML according to XSL Transformation rules.
