Description
This Generic Function belongs to Working Area Middleware. A (messaging) facility may require the capability to automatically send messages out in response to certain events; this Building Block Type models a facility that offers this capability.
An example would be the part of an email facility that sends a "Delivery Status Notification" message when delivery of an email is delayed or is not possible.
