Description
This Building Block Type belongs to Working Area Middleware (MW). A Message Store facility is used to preserve and organize electronic messages. It is used by other message handling facilities for intermediate storage of messages, e.g. as a message queue, and is thus present in virtually all asynchronous messaging systems.
This Building Block Type can be used as the front for a set of BBTs and/or Pattern Types, so that it is shown to depend on, for example, Data Management or File Storage. However if such specific level of detail is not necessary, it may also be used to represent the whole of the message store facility.
