Most data in this Environment can be classified as "Business Critical". There are very little cost benefits to differentiate between other sorts of data, so facilities should provide the highest level of availability. +
A proper operation of these facilities in this Environment is crucial to the availability of facilities and applications that support core business processes and applications rely on it. Therefore, only the highest level of availability is sufficient. +
Communications with the outside world are even more important than internal processing. Failure of facilities in this Environment will obstruct customer interaction and therefore lead to negative customer experience and damage to the brand. +
Server facilities at a Distribution Point should be reliable in a basic way, because malfunctions may hinder customer service. However, facilities within this Working Area (Server) are not as critical to the business as is the case with the facilities of the Working Area Client Realm. +
Providers should at least take care of a "Medium" availability level, for sales events a "High" availability level is advisable. +
