Adaptability up has ordinal number 10. It's one-sentence description is:
"Capacity can be Scaled Up"

When a facility has a scalability level of Up, then the capacity of the facility can be increased by measures working on the facility itself. For example:

  • a server can be scaled up by swapping a CPU for a faster CPU
  • a fiber connection can be scaled up by replacing the fiber module for a faster one
  • a storage cabinet can be scaled up by replacing its hard disks for disks with a larger capacity
