Description
This Building Block Type belongs to Working Area Server (SE). A Calendar facility maintains a virtual calendar, and handles calendaring tasks for calendar clients and/or groups of clients, like (re)scheduling appointments and tasks, alerting the user when an appointment, task or alarm is due, and allowing for consulting of the calendar. Although this facility is often combined with an email facility, it should be treated separately because of the difference in requirements that an organization may have between email and Calendar.
