Description
This Building Block Type belongs to Working Area Network (NW). This facility terminates communication sessions. This means that to the other end machine, this facility is the one it is communicating with. Thus, a logical communication circuit is established, separated from other logical circuits. The facility takes care of signaling activities, can signal congestion or busy-situations, and provide the means to multiply one connection to multiple receivers.
