Description
This Generic Function belongs to Working Area Server. This function can have the infrastructure perform actions based on all sorts of conditions. The combination of conditions and actions are referred to as a "rule". To be able to induce actions, the Rules Engine function must be able to invoke other functions or services. To be able to determine the right conditions, the Rules Engine must be fed with the relevant information. Note that very simple forms of Rules Engine functionality may be better modelled using the Scheduling function.
